Mother Prayers

Prayer Is the Mother. . .

“Prayer is the mother and daughter of tears. It is an expiation of sin, a bridge across temptation, a bulwark against affliction. It wipes out conflict, is the work of angels, and is the nourishment of everything spiritual.”

It is here that we seek to speak to the wayward of home, the sick of healing, the lonely of family, the weak of strength, to lift up the hands that hang low and in this attempt to bring a measure of peace to the place of fear.

Scripture tells us that “Perfect love casts out fear.” Ancient Hebrew tells us that the word for fear asks the question:  “Where is the Mother?”

Luk 4:18  Spirit of Yah Veh is upon me,
because he anoints me to evangelize the poor;
he apostolizes me to heal the crushed in heart;
to preach forgiveness to the captives
and sight to the blind;
to apostolize the crushed in forgiveness;
